Apparently, my mother has become an avid fisherwoman since her move down south. According to my family, she really reels 'em in. Maybe she should start her own fishing program. For any of you that fish; You might want to start using chicken livers as bait if you want to catch catfish. I'm pretty sure that's what she uses.
One of the things about my Mom that I love best is the fact that she has a sense of humor, and doesn't even realize it. She has said some of the funniest things that I've ever heard.
My Mom also enjoys sewing. She has made some pretty neat stuff. She made a quilt for me, and she always hems my work pants for me. In addition to her own sewing projects, she's assisted several other people with theirs. I know that if the job calls for a needle and thread, she's the first one I'd call.
